Korea Blockchain Week runs September 29 – October 1, 2026 at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul. If you're reading this without a side event booked, you are late — but not out. Prime evening slots at the marquee venues are gone; plenty of formats that outperform a mediocre party are still wide open. Here's a realistic assessment of what five weeks buys you.

What is realistically gone

The Han River flagship venues and the largest converted spaces are booked for the three prime evenings (Sept 29 – Oct 1). If your plan requires 500+ guests on one of those nights at a landmark venue, expect either no availability or a significant premium for a cancellation slot.

What is still very available

Breakfast and lunch formats. Almost nobody competes here, and the guests who come to an 8am roundtable are the serious ones. A 30-person breakfast briefing with named investors beats a 300-person party where nobody remembers you.

Off-peak days. September 28 (arrivals) and October 2 (the day after) both work — many international guests are still in Seoul, and their calendars are open.

Smaller venues, 30–100 guests. Art spaces, private dining rooms and hotel function rooms in this size band still have inventory. Restaurant and bar buyouts. The fastest path to a good event at short notice: an existing venue with its own character means minimal production, and a Gangnam or Hannam buyout for 40–80 people can be locked in days rather than weeks.

The five-week plan

What to cut if you're short on time

Cut production ambition, not guest quality. Skip the custom stage, the LED wall and the elaborate build — pick a venue that already looks good. Keep the bar simple.
